Fernandez Passed Up Opportunity to Play in Spain

Rudy Fernandez has passed up the opportunity to become the highest-paid player in the Spanish ACB and will remain in the NBA for now, regardless of how long the lockout lasts.

He will play through his final year on his contract with Dallas and then will decide from there where he will continue his career.

Mark Cuban has had an interview with Marca.com, the spanish website, where it was made obvious that Cuban's support helped sway Fernandez's decision to stay in the NBA for next season.

Because of the ongoing lockout, officials are not allowed to talk to Fernandez about his decisions.
