Once Again, Mavs Barely Get Their 10th Straight Win Against the Kings

On Wednesday night, the Mavericks earned their 10th consecutive victory with a 102-100 road win against the Sacramento Kings.

This game was a close one, for it could've really went either way.

Nowitzki played 34 minutes despite jamming his wrist in the game against the Cavs on Monday. His injury affected his shot greatly in this game as he was only 4 of 14 from the field totaling 10 points.

The Kings were up 43-37 with 5 minutes left in the 2nd quarter but not for long as the Mavs finished the quarter on a 19-4 run to lead 56-47 at the half.

After a strong third quarter for the Kings they still trailed 74-73. At this point the game could've gone either way; it all came down to the 4th quarter.

The Kings had an opportunity to tie the game at 100 towards the end, but Evan's layup was not a success.

In the 4th quarter, JJ Barea helped to hold off the Kings by scoring 15 of his 20 points off the bench. Terry also helped tremendously off the bench scoring a game-high 22 points. Cardinal also scored 20 points. The Mavs' bench altogether produced 58 points. Kidd finished with 14 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists, and Chandler finished with 13.

On the Kings, Dalembert led the team with 20 points and 7 rebounds. Cousins was right behind him with 19 points and 15 rebounds. Tyreke Evans was just 1 assist shy of a triple-double as he finished with 16 points, 10 rebounds, and 9 assists. Head also contributed 12 points to the board.

Next, the Mavs face the Nuggest in Denver.
